Cleveland Drivers Rank 7th Worst in the United States

A recent report published by QuoteWizard ranked Cleveland drivers among the worst in the United States.
By analyzing insurance quotes and data from the top 75 cities in America, QuoteWizard published a list of the top 40 worst driving cities in the U.S. along with a list of the top 35 best driving cities in America.
Cities were evaluated on four different factors to determine rankings:

    • Number of accidents
    • Number of speeding tickets
    • Number of DUIs

    1. Detroit, Michigan
    2. Louisville, Kentucky
    3. Chicago, Illinois
    4. Miami, Florida
    5. Grand Rapids, Michigan
    6. Little Rock, Arkansas
    7. St. Louis, Missouri
    8. New Orleans, Louisiana
    9. Fort Myers, Florida
    10. Lexington, Kentucky

Among the top 10 worst cities to drive in include:

    1. Portland, Oregon
    2. Boise, Idaho
    3. Virginia Beach, Virginia
    4. Columbus, Ohio
    5. Sacramento, California

Another report published in June 2019 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol discussed the number of traffic crashes in Cleveland during the “100 Deadliest Days of Summer”.
This period of time, running from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, has been characterized by safety officials as the most dangerous time to be on the roadway as the increase in traffic volume often leads to a dramatic increase in vehicular crashes and deaths.
