Biography

Allen Tittle built his career on a simple promise: when an Ohio family is up against a hospital, a billion-dollar corporation, or an insurance company that’s hoping they’ll go away quietly, he won’t let that happen.

That promise comes from somewhere real. Allen was raised by his great-great-aunt and uncle — people who stepped up for him because that’s what you do when someone needs you. He learned early what it means to have someone in your corner, and he learned what it costs when no one is. That lesson became the foundation of everything he built, including the firm that now bears his name.

Allen didn’t inherit a law practice. He didn’t take over a family name. In 2015, he bet on himself and founded Tittle & Perlmuter from nothing, putting his own livelihood on the line to build a firm that would actually fight for working Ohioans. More than a decade later, that firm represents clients across the state — and Allen still answers the call the same way he did on day one.

His practice is built around the cases that other lawyers may shy away from: catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, and gas explosion cases. These are fights against hospitals, big business, insurance companies, and institutions with deep pockets and full-time teams built to wear families down. Allen takes them on anyway.

In May 2026, his peers elected him President of the Ohio Association for Justice — and Allen has used that platform exactly the way you’d hope he would. He testifies at the Ohio Statehouse, taking the fight beyond the courtroom to push for laws that protect injured Ohioans and to push back against efforts to strip away their recovery. For Allen, the work doesn’t stop when a case settles or resolves. As long as there are families who could be harmed by the next bad policy, there’s another fight to take on.

Ask Allen what matters most, though, and he won’t lead with the titles. He’ll talk about the village that raised him and the community he’s now raising his own children in — a community he’s determined to keep safe for them and for every family in it. He’ll talk about the clients who trusted him on the worst day of their lives, and the scholarship recipients and local programs he supports because Ohio gave him everything, and he intends to give it back.

When you hire Allen, you’re not hiring a billboard — you’re hiring the kid from Ohio who knows what it means when people show up for you.

If you or your family has been seriously hurt and you’re up against a company, a hospital, or an institution that’s hoping you’ll go away quietly — call Allen. He won’t let that happen.
