Biography
Ellen Hobbs Hirshman is a veteran trial attorney with a commitment to justice and over 40 years of experience representing individuals and families across Ohio. From medical malpractice to catastrophic injury cases, Ellen has built her legacy on standing up for those who’ve been harmed by negligence and holding wrongdoers accountable in the courtroom.
Her passion for the law is matched by her deep care for her clients—many of whom are navigating life-altering trauma. Ellen’s sharp trial skills and compassionate approach have earned her the respect of both peers and judges throughout the legal community.
Beyond her legal work, Ellen is deeply involved in community outreach. She volunteers with the End Distracted Driving program, educating high school students about safe driving, and donates her time to the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, mentoring aspiring attorneys through moot court competitions.
Ellen lives in Northeast Ohio with her husband and is the proud mother of three sons. She brings not only experience, but heart, wisdom, and a deep belief in doing what’s right—for her clients, her community, and the future of the legal profession.
