Anne Heche rose to fame on the soap opera “Another World”, earning a Daytime Emmy Award. She followed with films like “Donnie Brasco”, “Six Days Seven Nights”, and “Wag the Dog”. Heche also dated Ellen DeGeneres from 1997 to 2000. More recently, she appeared in television series “The Brave”, “Quantico”, and “Chicago P.D.”
She died at 53, nine days after her devastating car accident in Los Angeles. According to reports, her vehicle was traveling at a high speed when she ran off the road and collided into a residence, engulfing her vehicle in flames. Anne was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and was placed in an intensive care unit with severe burns. Luckily, the woman inside the residence was unharmed. Anne fell into a coma due to significant pulmonary injury and burns. Days later it was reported that she suffered from a severe anoxic brain injury and was later declared brain dead.
